CLUB members enjoy the Dim Sum Warriors bilingual stories through the WEB APP, but most importantly, they connect with us, the writers and illustrators through online bilingual Doodle Date sessions which are livestreamed.

We have cherished the moments with our CLUB bilingual kids drawing, laughing, and learning together in Chinese and English.

One of our favorite things about the CLUB is witnessing the incredible creativity of our CLUB kids. I remember with great fondness that when I got sick, and the CLUB kids came up with the idea of the image of the baguette who has such a sore throat that he feels like he has swallowed a durian （好像吞了一颗榴莲／ Hǎo xiàng tūn le yì kē liú lián）.
Or for Mother’s Day Special when a CLUB kid suggested drawing her mother as a hamburger who likes to eat and watch TV at the same time （一边吃饭一边看电视／ Yì biān chī fàn yì biān kàn diàn shì ）. Your imaginations never cease to amaze us. And to learn Chinese and English through your own ideas has been so much fun.

Building Learning on Students’ Ideas: Our Educational Approach
Drawing on the insights of educational pioneers John Dewey and Stephen Krashen, I designed this programme to focus on building learning on students’ own ideas – a highly flexible curriculum in the context of a highly supportive atmosphere. These sessions emphasize joy and laughter while learning.

Children read our stories and then extend their learning through the bilingual Doodle Dates. This provides an additional touch point and can feel connected to the stories, characters, and creators. Most important is so that kids see how language can be used for creation and for expressing their own ideas rather than simply a subject to study for a test.

We’re excited to announce some changes to the Dim Sum Warriors CLUB!
To ensure a more enjoyable and accessible experience for everyone, we’re simplifying our membership options. Starting September 1st, we’ll offer:
CLUB Yearly: S$199 S$89/year !
CLUB Monthly: S$17 S$11/month !
Each membership includes one Doodle Date per month on the last Saturday at 9:30 AM (Singapore time).
We will discontinue the PLUS membership with access to stories but no Doodle Dates. By consolidating our offers into a single CLUB experience, we can get more bilingual kids to experience the full Dim Sum Warriors experience. And we can also dedicate more time to creating hilarious and relevant stories.
We can’t wait to continue sharing laughter, learning, and imagination with you! ❤️
